What are you doing in my closet?

Practical idea for the 2-person wardrobe doors in the caravan.

If you drive an ERIBA Touring 530 or have a two-door wardrobe in your caravan, you may be familiar with the problem that you have to open the left door to be able to open the right one. It has always annoyed us. Yesterday, we got to grips with the wardrobe door, well... with the locking system.

We borrowed the idea from @marco.frischknecht.587, one of many hacks that will be implemented bit by bit! Thanks Marco!

From now on, we can open both doors individually, independently of each other.

On the next tour we will test whether the doors hold like this, otherwise we will have to find another solution.

We fixed both magnets in the middle of the wardrobe doors (measure well and pay attention to the distance between the door and the wardrobe).

We unscrewed the strip on the right-hand cupboard door and screwed it back on upside down. It's very light and doesn't really get in the way and covers the screw holes.

We're still thinking about getting a similar knob for the right-hand door, so that it's not only visually nicer but also more practical.

If we find something suitable, we will report back.
