Why we love shopping

Shopping is a big hobby for us and for many women. We like to deal with fashion and love to buy clothes.

The

Of course, we believe that we have too much clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Shopping is fun, reduces stress and provides a short-term kick.

Important criteria when shopping are appearance, price, quality and durability of the fashion. However, we enjoy most of the products from the region we visit and it doesn't always have to be clothing.

They are often practical accessories for at home or for the caravan.

Who doesn’t know it… you take your shoes out of your closet, it smells of leather and the memories of your vacation in Italy come back to life. You can literally smell and taste the holiday. Images come into the head ... it was nice!

Yes - we don't want to be clichéd, women and shopping are not holidays.

But the most important thing is simply the ritual itself.

We like to stroll through the small streets or markets of the various cities and towns. We enjoy short conversations with the people, who explain to us where the goods come from and how you can recognize the quality, here we also get the best tips on where to find the best coffee and a good meal in the area.

But why actually?

The

It's proven, it's just human nature. We humans used to be so-called "hunters and gatherers"

Accordingly, men went hunting to provide the family with meat, and women collected edible, wild plants and mushrooms to feed the family.

We can't help it !!! It is innate and so a vacation is quickly planned in order to be able to make a “little detour” to the outlet nearby.

Is the trip to the Obelink a "must"?

It is really an experience! So many things! Such beautiful things that no one needs, but that find their way into the shopping cart in a very mysterious way. Joking aside...

We would advise anyone who needs basic equipment. In advance, however, we recommend making a shopping list and then looking at everything in peace and testing, such as chairs or tables. The prices are sometimes unbeatable. A huge parking lot for campers and caravan trailers. Anyone who tries to stay here (like us) will get a visit from the police.

Amsterdam

We were only in Amsterdam for a day and discovered the pastry by accident.

Incredibly tasty and something for the eye!

Very nice atmosphere.

On the way to the toilet it is possible to spit in the bakery.

The hague

When we travel to The Hague again, a visit to Simonis is on the list.

Large selection, large portions and everything tastes very, very delicious.

Haarlem

From Haarlem we took the train to Amsterdam. We liked this smaller city better than the big "sister". Everything that makes a beautiful city is available here in a smaller space.

The Bullerei

Following the recommendation of acquaintances, we spontaneously reserved a table in the Bullerei - Tim Mälzer's restaurant. The ambience is special, the service friendly and relaxed. Food delicious and something for the eye. Since the prices are quite high overall and the waiting times are sometimes a bit long, it is not interesting for everyone.
