How we will be ready to leave in an hour:
Through our short trips, we had been able to try out and test many things in the last weeks and months. And so we have developed a fixed routine when it comes to PACKING.
In the meantime, we are ready to leave within an hour, without constantly asking ourselves whether we have everything or have forgotten something? ...after all, you want to be prepared for everything at GLAMPIG!
The caravan and its equipment are always packed quickly, everything has found its place over time. After each trip, we clean, wash and refill things that have become empty (cosmetics, some food and kitchen accessories).
Once we have decided to go on a trip, which we can afford to do quite spontaneously these days, the first thing we do is get 5 things out of the caravan:
- Ikea bags 2x
- Clothes hanger
- water canister 2x
- herb-pots
- our Oh-Baggi
We pack our clothes and shoes into the Ikea bags. Depending on the duration of the trip, the bag gets quite full.
The lightweight plastic hangers are hung full of jackets, blouses and dresses, depending on the time of travel and the destination.
The water for the toilet goes into one water canister and the water for cooking into the other. We place both canisters at the front under the table to get more load.
Of course, our herb pots are always packed as well.
Food and drinks from the fridge go into the red Oh-Baggi, which is usually enough for 2-3 meals, in case we can't go shopping directly after arrival or have a stopover.

After everything is stowed in the caravan and water is filled in the toilet flush, the troll can be hitched up and the journey can begin.
