  • MiNi-Bar in the caravan

Supervised drinking! Well, we too are inspired. We copied the idea from @ hansruedi.widmer.927 a drink holder for water bottles that constantly fell over while driving or during everyday camping. We thought the idea of using the rails was brilliant and so a small MINI-BAR à la TROLL LALA was born! • LET'S PACK IT Part 2

It is not difficult to keep it tidy, all the more so ... This is especially true for us in the closet, the smaller the more chaotic. Relax! .. Kerstin always says! How can you relax when the morning rituals are already draining your nerves and time. Weeks in advance we look forward to the vacation, to relaxation and some time. If it weren't for the annoying thing: what do we need, what must be with us? Every time we make a point of packing something more organized and less. And doubts arise every time ... do we have everything we need !? Our dressing room in the Troll has a lot of space for two. We have 4 compartments in the closet that are relatively deep. The problem was always that we stowed stacks of things and of course we always wanted to wear what was in the back compartment. When we pulled out the garment, most of the mountain of laundry collapsed. The problem started with packing, first packing everything into a bag from the bag back into the closet. Most of the time there should be more than what fits in the closet! Our idea: We bought 4x felt carrier bags that we adapted to our compartment size and practical. 1. cut the height to fit and sewn again 2. Half-circles cut out to the middle, folded over and sewn on, so we can better see the contents and pull out the pockets. The bags (drawers) are packed at home according to a certain system. @mariekondo. When all four bags are packed, they are pushed completely into the cupboard compartment. The highlight of the story, when we want to put together an outfit in the morning, we pull out the pockets and have everything nicely sorted at a glance. We test and report! We took a 2 week vacation with our system and are very satisfied with the solution. Win win The links used are commission links, also known as affiliate links. • I can turn the vacuum cleaner on angry!

She doesn't do anything, she just wants to vacuum! Of course we could have made everything a lot * easier *. Whereby SIMPLE or CAMPING are very flexible terms. When we decided to go camping two years ago, words came to mind like: Free, spontaneous, simple, light and practical! To be outside, close to the sun, beach, sea, mountains, moon and stars. We quickly realized that we belonged more to the GLAMPING group. Personally, I saw camping as a new way of life and, in a way, therapy. I will now be a camper - I will leave everyday life behind me and with it the office job, the role of mother, obligations and the household. The caravan is small - it runs by itself for two! 😉 SERENITY! It's a wonderful term ... and I quickly realized that I don't understand much about it. I had specific ideas about how such a caravan vacation should run ... that in order to get hold of a pot, however, you have to be an athlete and take a course on "How do I open the camping chair so that it doesn't collapse under me". To my greatest challenge, the order has crystallized. For a long time I was satisfied with a hand brush and broom. “You are now a camper! Stay easy and relaxed is your motto now !!! “... until one day I heard the noise of the motor of a hand vacuum cleaner! The man from our camping neighbor was on his way, no sooner had he disappeared around the corner than she grabbed the vacuum cleaner and the symphony began! There are women in the camping world who are like me! I was bursting with envy! I love sand between my toes or the freshly mown grass ... but not in the caravan! I also approached other camping neighbors cautiously ... and everyone, really everyone, owned such a thing! So it didn’t take long and we also had a HAND VACUUM CLEANER ... but it didn’t make me happy! In this sense: Therapy canceled ... we now have a 950 watt vacuum cleaner system (shoe box size) in the 10 m² one-room apartment! Happy camper! Installation: First question where do we place the vacuum cleaner. The unit is just about the size of a normal shoebox and can be installed anywhere in the vehicle - horizontally or vertically. We really wanted to hide the suction system somewhere out of sight in the caravan. A new plug-in system that can be installed independently of the suction unit allows the central unit and the suction hose to be accommodated separately from one another in the interior. With two entrances we can completely vacuum out the interior (when the suction hose is plugged in, the device switches on automatically) and plugged in in the basement, e.g. the car. For hidden installation, the device comes with additional pipe sections and a connection socket that can be installed at a suitable location. Since we have the circulating air thermal bath in the caravan, we have three openings in the interior (dining area, bathroom and under the bed) Data Input voltage: 230 V (fixed current or pure sine wave voltage!) Power consumption: 4.5 A. Power consumption: 950 W Suction power: 2500 mm water column Operating temperature: -15 ° C to + 40 ° C Material: Plastic Color: Black Dimensions (WxHxD): 298 x 171 x 175 mm Weight: 2.7 kg Win win The links used are commission links, also known as affiliate links. • Our mini camper world

Dreaming allowed.. Will we create our own little world? Yes, it is fun to recreate funny situations. In addition, it is also the fun of handicrafts, and - we believe - to a certain extent nowadays more and more also - decelerating. To create an ideal world for yourself, in which you decide for yourself where to go with the caravan - that really has its charm. Everyone knows the great pictures from forums or social media. The so-called macro shots of small model figures in a "real" environment are fascinating and just look great! From time to time we are also fascinated by how the mini figures creatively depict the real world in such a detailed and varied manner. And it is a great pleasure to breathe new life into the likeable little ones! We are repeatedly asked where to find the small miniature caravans or figurines, below are some affiliate links - have fun with them. Make the world as you like it! • Croatia vacation June / July 2021

Zadar - Zaton Holiday Resort Vacation? Yes, please! Our parking space was in the 1st row to the sea and was quite generous. Water, sewage and electricity are right on the spot. Some pine trees provide shade, the access roads are also designed for larger mobile homes or teams. The wash houses are super clean and very modern. Sufficient shower and washing up options. We liked it - the price wasn't cheap during the high season. The campsite / facility / resort Very nice place, located in a park with many pine trees. The facility is extremely spacious, divided with a separate reception for the campsite and for the apartments with three and four star bungalows. The resort also has a beautiful and large pool area. Everything is right on a flat and beautiful sandy beach. There are many ways to do sports, but usually for a fee. The loungers and the umbrellas in the entire area are chargeable. The supermarket on the square is well stocked, but quite expensive. But there is a good supermarket right on the property line. At the driveway, which is best reached by bike, is a great and inexpensive bakery with a large selection of baked goods at a reasonable price. The general location is great, because from the resort it takes a few minutes (by car) to reach the small and very beautiful town of Nin. A town where you can stroll a bit and visit one of the many restaurants. About 20 minutes away by car is Zadar, the next larger city that is worth seeing. The island of Vir and the island of Pag are very beautiful and easy to reach. And many cities with a rich cultural and historical heritage, national parks and other natural beauties are very close by. Cycling in and around Zadar We love to explore new surroundings by bike, because it has always been a great experience and the experiences are simply special. There are not many bike paths in the area, but there are streets and places that are not very busy. Discovering them and enjoying hidden bays is a great thing. On the go with the SUB We have a new hobby, we cannot afford a boat or sailing ship, but we can paddle along the shore with a SUP. It is a nice way to sunbathe, enjoy the sea air, the water and do sports. We loved getting from A to B and exploring the area in this way. With a light dress and flip-flops on board, we kept stopping at various bars. If you want to do it for two you should buy a SUP that carries two people and with which you can get along well. We recommend buying two additional paddles. So you can do a lot of kilometers really fast with two people. Unfortunately, the SUP is sold out at the price we paid.
